Interview Data Handled the Way High-Stakes Hiring Requires

VerisNova is built for organizations where an interview record needs to be defensible, not just convenient. Here is how candidate video, transcripts, identity documents, and recruiter decisions are handled.

Tenant isolation

Every organization's interviews, transcripts, and review data are isolated at the database level, so one workspace can never see another workspace's data.

Role-based access

Recruiter permissions are scoped by role. Who can view a live interview, act on it, or export evidence is controlled per organization, not left open by default.

Encrypted media in transit

Live candidate video and audio are transported over encrypted connections between the interview session and the recruiter's war room, not routed through open channels.

Signed document access

Identity verification documents (ID proofs, degree and experience evidence) are never served as public links — every view is authorized through a short-lived signed URL, generated on request.

Audit trail

Every Review Action Is a Record, Not Just a Click

Audit-ready hiring means being able to reconstruct what happened after the fact — what the AI surfaced, what the recruiter did, and when.

  • Every recruiter action taken during a live interview — Take Control, Probe Deeper, Escalate Review — is timestamped and stored against that specific session.
  • Recruiter decisions and AI-generated recommendations are kept as separate, distinguishable records, so a reviewer can always tell which was which.
  • Identity verification decisions are logged with the evidence they were based on, not just the outcome.

Data handling

What VerisNova Stores, and Who Can See It

What we store

Interview transcripts, session recordings, behavioral and integrity signals captured during the interview, recruiter notes and actions, and — where an organization enables it — identity verification documents.

Who can see it

Recruiters and reviewers within the hiring organization that ran the interview, scoped by their role. VerisNova does not share candidate interview data across organizations.

Human control by design

AI-generated recommendations are decision support, not automated decisions. Every session keeps a clear, separate record of the final recruiter-controlled action.

Organizations using VerisNova remain responsible for candidate consent, lawful hiring practices, and their own data-governance policies. Full detail on data retention, collection, and your rights is in the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy presented during account setup.
